Red Jasper Unprocessed, Rough Stones
Jasper, an aggregate of microgranular quartz and/or chalcedony and other mineral phases, is an opaque, impure variety of silica. The brick-red colour of red jasper results from the inclusion of iron in the crystalline structure.
Unlike agate, jasper is opaque and light does not shine through it.
Description of these Red Jasper Rough Stones
These stones have a uniform brick-red colour. Some stones have whitish patches as in the picture. They are completely opaque stones.
These stones have not been processed in any way so have a natural stone appearance.

Where items are approximately spherical the size refers to their diameter. Where items are long and thin (such as crystal or blade shapes) or any other shape, then the size refers to their largest dimension. It is important to see the pictures to know exactly what the appearance is. Our pictures do not showcase the best, they are as realistic as possible and include a R1 coin to demonstrate the actual size.
These are small stones that are predominantly 4-15mm in length.
