Epoxy Resin Starter Packs
When it comes to resin work we always tell people to start small. This way you gain experience with the correct products and learn to use them correctly.

We have three starter kits because you need different resin types for resin projects done on flat surfaces, shallow castings such as coaters and jewellery and for deep casting river tables.
These Starter Kits will expose you to many of the aspects of using resin such as measuring, mixing, adding pigment powders and liquid colourants, curing and finishing. You will be able to experience the various effects that pigments and colourants give and thus be able to order exactly what you need for future projects.
Resin Art & Countertop Starter Pack
Used to create colourful, glossy pours or "resin paintings" on suitable rigid surfaces such as wood, glass, tiles, metals etc. The resin provided is a thick, low flow resin. This makes it easier to retain on the surface and to control the mixing of different colours.
This pack consist of the following:
- Countertop & Art Coating Epoxy Resin: 1.50kg
- Colour Pearlescent Pigment Pack (18 colours x 10g each)
- Allure Resin Colourant 30ml: White
- Allure Resin Colourant 30ml: Black
- Allure Resin Colourant 30ml: Green
- Allure Resin Colourant 30ml: Blue
- Allure Resin Colourant 30ml: Bright Red
- Cosmetic Diamond Sparkle Pigment Powder 10g: Silver
Items not included that you will need to supply yourself: Propane/Butane torch (to pop bubbles and move resin), mixing cups, stir sticks, kitchen scale (although this resin can be measure by volume we recommenced measurement by mass), surfaces that you will pour or paint on, gloves, eye-glasses etc and cleaning materials.
Resin Jewellery and Coaster Starter Pack
Used to create beautiful castings in shallow moulds (one jewellery and one coaster mould are included). This can be the start of creating lovely resin items. Please note that the resin provided in this kit is only suitable for layers up to 10mm thick and is thus not a starter kit for deeper castings such river tables.
This pack consist of the following:
- General Art Epoxy Resin: 750g
- Jewellery Silicone Mould: Geometric Pendants
- Coaster Silicone Mould: Disc
- Colour Pearlescent Pigment Pack (18 colours x 10g each)
- Allure Resin Colourant 30ml: White
- Allure Resin Colourant 30ml: Green
- Allure Resin Colourant 30ml: Blue
- Holographic Glitter: 10g
- Small Tumbled Stones Mixed: 200g
The jewellery mould supplied makes pendants with a chain hole that are suitable for necklaces, keychains, keyrings etc. The Coaster Mould supplied makes large circular disc coasters.
We supply our General Art Epoxy Resin with this pack. It is a somewhat thicker (lower flow) resin so should not be used in clear castings as some air bubbles may be retained (we supply plenty of pigments with it in this pack). You can also use our Counter Top & Shallow Casting Epoxy Resin for these applications but it is more expensive and not available in such a small unit size.

River Table Starter Pack
Used to create deep pours (often in wood or between wood pieces). The pack has Deep Casting Resin as well as pigments that are often used in river tables. There is not sufficient resin to create a significant size river table but there is sufficient resin for a small project from which you will gain experience with various materials. The pearlescent pigment powders, liquid colourants and wax are sufficient for many more projects.
This pack consist of the following:
- Deep Casting Epoxy Resin (Greencast 160): 1.42kg (1.26 litres)
- Resin Release Wax: 400ml
- Colour Pearlescent Pigment 50g: Azure Blue
- Colour Pearlescent Pigment 50g: Techno-Silver
- Colour Pearlescent Pigment 50g: Malachite
- Allure Resin Colourant 30ml: White
- Allure Resin Colourant 30ml: Black
- Allure Resin Colourant 30ml: Blue
- Glow-in-the-dark pigment 100g: Green Universal (Use this on its own in resin, don't mix it with other pigments.)
