Bastion Paint only manufactures and stocks high quality products. The items we manufacture (including all paints that we sell) are subject to numerous quality checks. Individual LED items and lights that we supply (excluding single use items that cannot be switched off) are each individually tested prior to shipping.

We are confident that you will be satisfied with every item in every purchase.

You can return items that you don’t want within 7 days of receipt.

We will refund or exchange any goods if you return them within 7 days of receipt.

However, the goods must still be in their original condition and packaging and you may not have opened them or used them at all.

  • Let us know about your planned return by mailing sales@bastionpaint.co.za (include your Order Confirmation or Invoice number in the email).

  • You can select your own courier to return the goods or request us to collect them. We will not compensate you for the courier cost of returning unwanted goods and if we collect the goods we will deduct the collection fee from the credit or refund that we give you (our collection fee will normally be the same as the initial delivery fee charged on your invoice).

  • If you return all or most of an order or part of a very small order we reserve the right to not refund you our initial delivery charge as this is an irreversible cost that we will have already incurred.

What can I do if the goods are defective?

In the very unlikely event that any item turns out to be defective we will repair it, replace it or give you a refund.

Let us know about your concern by mailing sales@bastionpaint.co.za (include your Order Confirmation or Invoice number in the email). We will send a courier to collect the goods. We reserve the right to refer any returned item for technical assessment prior to repairing, replacing or refunding. We will provide you with feedback within 30 days of receipt of the returned item and will act accordingly.

How to return items to us:

Make sure all paints are properly closed. You will have seen how we packaged 1, 5 and 20 Litre paint containers so pack them in a similar way. (Place the paint container in any plastic bag and tape from top to bottom right around to ensure the lid cannot come off. Do this in at least 2 positions.)

Pack all the items tightly in a cardboard box, add a copy of your invoice and a note with any information that you think we should know. Then seal the box and address it to:

Refund Methods:

Once we have accepted a return and approved a refund, you will receive the refund in one of the following ways:

  • Credit note
  • Electronic transfer directly into your account (allow at least 48 hours).

If we repair or replace goods we will send them to you by courier.
