Glass Microspheres
These glass beads are inert and are thus suitable for addition to almost all liquids without the risk of chemical reaction.
Function in paints:
Spherical glass spheres that feel like medium size beach sand. They can be added to any paint to create a very rough surface texture. They do not create a sparkle effect. The surface will be significantly rougher than that of normal textured paints.
Function in resins:
In resins the glass spheres sink below the surface and are almost invisible. In clear resin you can see something is in the resin but they are not highly visible.
They make an excellent economical filler for resin. They can be used to reduce the flow of resins and thus keep the resin where you want it. If you add a lot, the resin will feel thick so use a spoon or spatula to apply the glass / resin mix.
They can also be used together with sparkling pigments which cannot settle if the glass beads are present.
Keep out of reach of children
All our products should be kept out of reach of children under 5 years and anybody who may tend to place items or liquids in their mouths should be supervised. Even packing can become a choking hazard.
