Grey Bloodstone Unprocessed, Rough Stones
The mineral aggregate heliotrope also known as bloodstone, is a variety of jasper or chalcedony (which is a cryptocrystalline mixture of quartz). The "classic" bloodstone is green jasper with red inclusions of hematite (as in our product Dark Bloodstone Small Tumbled Stones). These stones, however, are not green jasper but are a mixture of blue-grey to translucent white chelcedony stones with red hematite inclusions. The colour combination of the stones gives awesome natural effects.
Description of these Grey Bloodstone Rough Stones
These Bloodstones are blue-grey to translucent milky white stones, most with brick-red spots or patches. In some stones the red colour dominates, in others it is minor or absent.
The colours of these bloodstones in quite different to our Dark Bloodstone Tumbled Stones which are dark green with red spots. We also have Grey Bloodstone Tumbled Stones which have similar colour to these stones.

Where items are approximately spherical the size refers to their diameter. Where items are long and thin (such as crystal or blade shapes) or any other shape, then the size refers to their largest dimension. It is important to see the pictures to know exactly what the appearance is. Our pictures do not showcase the best, they are as realistic as possible and include a R1 coin to demonstrate the actual size.
The length of most of these stones ranges vary from 8-15mm.
