Sodalite Blue Small Tumbled Stones
Sodalite has chemical formula Na8(Al6Si6O24)Cl2. Sodalite derives it name from its sodium content.
These stones have been fully tumbled to develop a smooth polished finish.
Description of Sodalite Blue
These stones are beautiful rich royal blue with lighter blue to off-white patterns on some stones. Pure sodalite is a rich royal blue but these stones contain lighter blue and off-white patches that contrast the dominant royal blue colour.
Stone Size
Size Small 1: Flattish stones 7-15mm with average length about 10mm.
Size Small 2: Roundish stones 8-18mm with average length about 13mm (slightly smaller than some of our other size Small 2 stones).
These are ideal for use in resin art.
