Guinea Fowl Jasper stones are an interesting form of Jasper that is grey with distinct white speckles resembling the feathers of the Guineafowl bird.
These are rough unprocessed stones.
Jasper, an aggregate of microgranular quartz and/or chalcedony and other mineral phases, is an opaque, impure variety of silica.
Unlike agate, jasper is opaque and light does not shine through it.
