- Also used to extend soft and medium body acrylics.
- (Not recommended for the addition of pearlescent pigments.)
Acrylic Clear Base Medium
Primary Function:
A base from which artists can create their own medium bodied, medium sheen paint colours by adding pigment powders or liquid colourants. This base is not recommend for the addition of metallic or pearlescent pigments. Our high concentration "Liquid Colourants for Water-Based Paints" are ideal for adding to this Clear Base to make you own colours.
Other Functions:
Use as an extender for soft and medium body acrylic paints.
Used as a clear sealer for canvases where it functions like smooth gesso (apply 3 coats for this).

Medium Body, Medium Sheen, Pure Acrylic.
Add pigment powders or liquid colorants or use as an extender.
Prepare and prime as per normal acrylic paints before application onot a surface.
Lightfast / For Interior & Exterior / UV resistant.
Dry films are sufficiently flexible to be rolled.
Contains fine ground marble powders.
Thin dry films are nearly transparent (slightly whitish when painted onto a black surface due to the inclusion of marble).
Not used as a clear top coat as dry films are not fully transparent. For this application please use our Clear Top Coat (Gloss or Matt).
Keep out of reach of children
All our products should be kept out of reach of children under 5 years and anybody who may tend to place items or liquids in their mouths should be supervised. Even packing can become a choking hazard.
