Brecciated Jasper Small Tumbled Stones
Beautiful cryptocrystalline stones.
Jasper, an aggregate of microgranular quartz and/or chalcedony and other mineral phases, is an opaque, impure variety of silica, usually red, yellow, brown or green in colour. Unlike agate, jasper is opaque and light does not shine through it.
The term “Brecciated” refers to rocks composed of broken fragments that have been cemented together in a fine-grained matrix. The cementing together of different coloured fragments creates rocks with patchy colours.
These stones have been fully tumbled to develop a smooth polished finish.

These opaque stones have a range of colours best described as a mottled patchwork of light colours and reddish hues. These stones are difficult to describe but you can see typical stones in the pictures.
