About the Paints
Durable pure acrylics for interior and exterior applications. Specifically optimised for Pouring Art.
Medium body paints i.e. thicker than normal wall paint but not thick like heavy body paint in a tube. All colours in the range now have the same viscosity (thickness) so for basic techniques you can pre-mix them all with the same ratios of Flow Control and water.
About Flow Control Medium
  • Significantly increases flow while retaining a feel of “body” and imparting cell forming properties.
  • Our new Flow Control formulation helps to prevent all five types of cracking that Pouring Artists often battle with. This new crack prevention chemistry allows more torching (to pop air bubbles), drying in hotter conditions and for thicker pour layers.
  • A high gloss medium which creates a beautiful, durable, archival, glossy finish in Acrylic Pours.
  • The high gloss together with proprietary surfactants make the paint colours more vivid in the final dry artwork.
About Turbo Cell
Cells form immediately. Torching shortly after pouring is very useful and recommended to get rid of air bubbles but note that the cells formed when using our Flow Control and Turbo Cell are stable and torching in not required to make cell appear or to freeze them into place. Torch anyway to get rid of surface defects caused by air bubbles.
How to mix the paints
Mix 1 part paint with 1 part Flow Control (by volume) and then add a little water to increase the flow further if required. A good mixing ratio for cell formation with these paints and Flow Control is 5:5:1 e.g. 15ml Paint : 15ml Flow Control : 3ml Water. Depending on the temperature and pouring technique the water may or may not be required. Mix until uniform and then add a drop of Turbo Cell to each colour (we recommend 3 drops into 50ml of mixed paint).
Remember this is an art form and there are no hard and fast rules.

Keep out of reach of children and prevent eye contact

It is very important to avoid eye-contact with all our Cell Forming products. Permanent eye damage can result from direct eye contact. Dropper bottles may be confused for eye-drop bottles so keep your art products separate from you medical products. In the event of eye contact wash eyes with running water continually and seek medical advice.

All our products should be kept out of reach of children under 5 years and anybody who may tend to place items or liquids in their mouths should be supervised. Even packing can become a choking hazard.
