Fine Line Agate Unprocessed, Rough Stones
Agate is a rock consisting primarily of cryptocrystalline silica, chiefly chalcedony, alternating with microgranular quartz. It is characterized by its fineness of grain and variety of colour.
Agate differs from jasper in that it is generally translucent (if you put a light behind it, light tends to shine through).
The cryptocrystalline structure of the stones contains various minerals that impart some earthy colours in patches, bands and lines.

Predominantly grey and "boring" stones with some earthy colouring.
Fine lines or bands can be seen on some stones but not as many as the name may suggest.
Being an agate the stones have a translucent nature so can create interesting effects in a resin project with a bright light shining from behind. The stones will appear to emit a glow.
These stones have not been processed in any way so have a natural stone appearance.

S: (4-15mm)
